We
tried to keep this to as little as possible and managed to reduce it to
15kg each for the walk up to Coir' a' Ghrunnda reducing to 13.5kg
including 4 litres of water at the start of the ridge. We used Grivel
Alpine Light rucksacks with the Grivel
Manu attached for the walk into Coir' a' Ghrunnda. We stashed the
Manus with the camping gear and used the Alpine Lights with a 2 litre Platypus
on the ridge. They are an excellent rucksack and weigh in at only 1.3kg. |
