At 20:10pm we started our descent down the South East Ridge stopping briefly to phone and arrange our pick up at Sligachan for 10:45pm. As we walked down the path our legs were very tired and the balls of our feet were throbbing. The sun set over the mountains and for the last twenty minutes we used our head torches after I had taken a tumble in the dark. At almost precisely the same time (23:02pm) as we finished our first attempt in 2005 we arrived back at the road where the car was waiting to transport us effortlessly back to the cottage.
